Video Transcript

Hi, friends! Today is cover reveal day!!

I am so so so excited!

I can’t believe this day is happening. I can’t believe you’re here watching this video, celebrating with me. I just thought this day would never come for any kind of book that I was writing.

But it is here!

I am super duper duper duper pumped to reveal the cover of this book, to read the blurb of this book, and also share how you can get some free swag.

Yes, I’m going to be revealing all of the things concerning what you can get, about sign paperbacks, where the book is available, and probably most importantly at this point, the cover.

I’m going to go ahead and show the cover…I’m ready. I can do this!

Here we go!

That is the cover of Dear Author: Letters from a Bookish Fangirl!

It is so so pretty! I love the pink and the blue! I really wanted this book to have pink on it (I can’t tell you why but I just did). This is the back:

(Note: For some reason this version is slightly darker then the original brightness of the image.)

You’re probably wanting to know the blurb now cause I only showed/shared the tagline on Goodreads, which at the time was, “Think your words might not matter? Think again.”

So I’m going to actually read the blurb from the back of the book because I actually can do that. 😀 Here we go!

Think your words might not matter? Think again.

Words have the power to change lives, especially when they are used to create meaningful stories. In this collection of letters, bookish fangirl Laura A. Grace addresses topics related to every writer’s journey. From “character conversations,” to embracing one’s unique writing style, to celebrating a release day—there is a letter for every author no matter where they may be in sharing their story with others.

“Dear Author” includes six illustrations by Hannah S.J. Williams.

And I get to show you a sneak peek at one of the fantastic illustrations!

I will tell you that when I was working with Hannah, I told her the one thing that was most important to me was to have a unicorn in every illustration. YES!

She was like “Yeah, let’s do it!” and I was like “Yeah, let’s do it!”!

So that is my book, Dear Author: Letters from a Bookish Fangirl! I’m going to leave the links where it’s currently available here below:

Signed Paperback — Amazon — Barnes & Noble — Book Depository

If you are interested getting a signed paperback for yourself or for a friend for or for other friends or other people that you know, I am currently doing a deal where you can get Dear Author and the swag goodies (which I’m about to show) for ten dollars, including shipping.

Order Signed Paperback(s)

If you are like, “Okay. Well I don’t want to order a signed paperback or I can’t get one right now, but I ordered the e-book.”

Totally counts!!

All I need is a receipt showing your proof of purchase!

Just fill out this form, which has a place to upload your receipt. (Screenshot below.)

Either way, no matter if you buy the e-book or you buy the paperback, you will get physical goodies.

Okay, I’ve mentioned those goodies like three times I think already. What are the goodies, Laura?!

Okay, okay I got you!

My said goodies are these four awesome things right here!

The first one is this postcard that has one of the quotes from one of the letters in the book. You’ll also get a bookmark of Dear Author. The back says “Think your words matter? Think again.”

Look at the little heart! It’s so pretty!

You will also get this super duper cool sticker of one of the illustrations!

Yes, this is probably (I think) my favorite. It’s really hard to say because I love absolutely all of them. Hannah did an amazing job but this is one of them!

So you’ll get this sticker and for my last one you will get a personalized mini letter from me!

If you’re giving this book to someone as a gift, then they can get a little personalized mini letter to them as well.

I really wanted to include something personal and thought it would be cool to write a physical letter to the person who bought the book.

Those are all the cool goodies that are for you guys!

All you have to do is just pre-order the book on any book retail website or order a signed paperback from me and you get all the swag!

That my friends is the cover reveal of my upcoming book that is releasing officially on December 3rd of this year.

I am so absolutely thrilled to be celebrating this adventure with you! Thank you so much guys for all of your support! It was so so exciting to me to see all the excitement of the title reveal!

So thank you guys! Again, here is the pretty cover!

Thank you guys so much for your support!

I can’t wait to share the next video, which I will leave as a surprise until the next time!

Thanks for reading!
