Wow! What an awesome and exciting tour this has been! Did you miss an interview or book review?
No worries! Below is a short recap of all the fun reviews, guest posts, and interviews (with links).
First up, a fun interview with Aleigha C. Israel at The Pen of the Writer! Her excitement and joy is contagious as my answers to her questions probably shows! If you’re curious what inspired me writing Dear Author or the one thing I hope readers take away, be sure to stop by!
This review of Dear Author made me so happy! I couldn’t agree more with Cobonham as I would LOVE for readers to feel inspired to write a letter to their favorite authors after reading this book! Who says snail mail still isn’t cool? 😉
It’s no secret that I deeply love the anime Haikyu!! as I have been consistently gushing about it to friends and family since watching it. Mainly because I love the manga and anime and all the feels it can bring out, but there is another reason and it’s much more personal. I’m sharing a little more about that reason over on Author E.E. Rawls‘s blog.
This review from The Folded World is so beautifully written and truly captures the heart of what I hoped to convey in Dear Author!
I recently shared in this interview with Author K.A. Cummins that I take my reading seriously so I can support wonderful authors like her. Love sharing all the book love from the books I read! But don’t worry! I’m still sharing about Dear Author and this interview was totally delightful!
Curious about my writing journey? I’m sharing part of my heartfelt story over on Tabitha Caplinger‘s blog where I was *very* transparent. (A little nervous? Just a little. 😅🙈)
I no longer need to look up at that looming brick wall and see myself as a failure because I couldn’t break through it.
No, I can look up at that looming wall and just keep writing, just keep trusting my Creator and this calling on my life because I know He can break through it.
I’m so thankful for all the encouragement and support from countless friends since I started this writing adventure, especially recently with the launch of Dear Author! Thank YOU for being on it with me! I was reminded tonight when reflecting on this interview I had with Yakira from Paper Ink & Lizard. Never imagined I would be writing today!
I was super excited when Teish Knits recommended Dear Author as a great gift to give a writer in her book review!
This was such a fun and unique interview! Pam Halter at Fairies, Fantasy and Faith interviewed herself and shared about us meeting, her thoughts on Dear Author, and her awesome book Fairyeater! (Flashback of the time I took a photo with her book and a fairy cookie!)
Every review I see of Dear Author makes me giggle inside because I feel like my heart and passion is “spreading” to one more person, one more reader, one more author. Never think that you’re writing isn’t worth it! This was a great review on Seasons of Humility!
Another fantastic review on Coming Up Roses!
It is a book that every writer should read…to remind them of why they do what they do and to be inspired to keep at it. And it is a book that every reader who has ever been touched by a book should read…to remind them of why we love books and how much joy they can bring to us.
Thank you SO much Rebekah Loper, Author for this thoughtful review of Dear Author! It makes my heart so happy to know these letters ARE encouraging authors as that was my earnest prayer when writing.
Oh my goodness! Janeen Ippolito did a video review of Dear Author and it is excellent! If you’re curious about what my book is and what it isn’t, I strongly recommend watching this review! And even if you’re not curious, she just called my book a “heartspresso” and think I just melted! 😍
This was an exciting stop on the blog tour! Not only did I share three easy ways to support authors (that do NOT include reviewing), but Jannette from Wounded but Hopeful shared an awesome review of Dear Author! Eeeeek!
I’ll be reading her letters every day as needed. And when those pesky, negative thoughts and emotions arise, I’ll open up her book and use it as a weapon of ENCOURAGEMENT, fending off all my fears, struggles and loneliness away.
I LOVED hearing Terri from Rand Reviews‘s reading experience while reading Dear Author! (Talking about *me* wanting to put my fist in the air while reading *her* review!) Such a fun review and so glad that another reader loves the illustrations by The Art of Hannah S. J. Williams!
Guys, can I take a moment to gush about Jessica Belmont? We first met via a blog tour I was hosting and we share a deep love for supporting authors. I’m so blessed that through us working together over a verity of tours we have become friends! She is one of most encouraging ladies I know! She is constantly recommending other indie authors books, sharing about those books, and reading and reviewing those books. It’s so awesome! And this time, I’m on the “other end” of her encouragement as a writer!!! Talk about surreal! I was so blessed by her review of Dear Author today!
It’s the last review on the Dear Author blog tour and my heart is so blessed by J.L. Mbewe‘s kind words! It is truly a blessing to support indie authors on a day-to-day basis!
