Five Reasons Why I Want to Read Reconciliation by Amy Brock McNew

Happy release day, Amy Brock McNew!

Reconciliation is officially available (you can get your copy HERE) and I am super pumped about reading more of Liz’s story. Joining her on this journey in book one, Rebirth, was amazing and I know that this one will be just as amazing.

I thought I celebrate this wonderful occasion by sharing five reasons why I’m going to be reading Reconciliation sometime next month.

Five Reasons Why I Want to Read Reconciliation by Amy Brock McNew.jpg

1. The bad guy.

Rebirth doesn’t end with a cliff hanger, but we do have one big unresolved problem…Kade. If I thought the first demon was crazy evil, I can only imagine how Kade will top him in everything. He’s lurking the in the shadows and it is time for him to leave…forever.

2. The action.

Book one of The Reluctant Warrior Chronicles was packed with heavy action. Just when you think things will be good for a while, no. The demons come in and ruin everything. Almost every page was filled with Liz and Ryland fighting evil. I have no doubt this book will be the same way.

3. A real romance.

I confess I am not the biggest fan of heavy romance. However, I loved how there was no being fake. Liz and Ryland’s relationship was one of fighting together as a spiritual team, which I feel is so important in any relationship/marriage. I am eagerly excited to see their relationship continue to grow stronger. Plus, I heard the news that readers will see…

4. A wedding!

Yes, a wedding! I don’t know when, but Liz confirmed this yesterday in a chat she had with me. She mentioned she doesn’t like frills, but her Mom seems to be heavily involved, so we might get frills and more.

5. Spiritual warfare.

I can’t see the spiritual battle around me as Liz can (obviously), but I realized that spiritual warfare is ugly and brutal. I realized that I need to always be on guard and remain firm in Christ. It’s only through Christ and His strength alone that we can resist evil, which Rebirth reminded me of. I can imagine Reconciliation will also remind me of this, which I believe is a very good thing.

About the Book

Some ghosts from the past refuse to stay dead.

Finally. Finally everything is coming together for Liz Brantley. She’s marrying Ryland Vaughn, the man of her dreams. She’s embraced her calling and battles the minions of hell bent on her destruction. And she’s left her dark past far behind her. Or so she thought.

A secret she holds close, stuffed down deep, surfaces at the wrong time for everyone in Liz’s life, leaving a trail of devastation. Left reeling, Liz wonders if she made a mistake, putting her trust in God, her guardian Arie, and Ryland. And the demon Kade capitalizes on her shaken faith. With a vengeance.

Torn between her tortured past and the future she craves, Liz is desperate to defeat every demon that stands in her way. Before all hell breaks loose and swallows her whole.
