#onelinewednesday: Conqueror

This past year I have been a firm believer in that God leads me to each book I want/should read at just the right time.

Mandy Fender’s Conqueror was no different this week.

I had been feeling very down about something and then read the end of Mandy’s novel. It was sort of like time slowed down as I soaked in her words. I wasn’t prepared for how I thought it would end, but it literally was exactly what I needed.

In fact, the whole series was that way.

My heart was so stirred when reading and thought more than once about my calling in serving not only my Savior, but His people, my fellow brothers and sisters.

Though I might have been wrapped up in worry and fear for a short time this weekend, I’m thankful that Mandy reminds readers in one of the most beautiful ways that God loves His children so very much and watches over them.

In fact, something Lennox says wraps it up perfectly.
