#onelinewednesday: Lift

I love when you discover a new read that is so pleasantly unique that it just sweeps you off your feet!

Lift by L.M. Ransom is one of those reads.

It was full of mystery, had a fun heroine, and magic flying ponies. However, not just any ordinary pony. No, these are ponies from grand carousels.

It was amazing! I very greatly enjoyed how the author portrayed each pony with different personalities and how they interacted with Charlotte. Plus, there were some fantastic fantasy twists that surprised me and had me on the edge of my seat. (Let’s just say houses can be a interesting character.)

I thought it would be fun to share a quote about these special horses that totally make me wish I could go on one and fly into the clouds. Oh, how fun that would be!

Well, as long as I was on the right horse. Otherwise things could get a little crazy. 😉

Also, did I mention that Charlotte is a self-proclaimed geek and it was awesome to see some Sherlock and Star Wars references? No? Well, those references were super fun on top of all the magical delight. (You know, just to throw it out there. Hehe!)
