#onelinewednesday: Lightless

Sometimes you need a little reading break and I decided to do just that this past weekend with a new short story release.

Lightless by K.T. Ivanrest released last week and have to second the person this story was dedicated too.

It would make an epic novel.

However, even as a short story it is very good. Fulsa’s growth was extremely touching and loved how he changed by the end. I definitely wanted to let out a little bit of a “Hurrah.” 😉

Though the story has a large focus on the glowing horses (and the race), it had a great message too. Granted, I can’t say too much because there would be spoilers, but let’s just say this story encouraged me to use my voice to not make excuses as well as think of others and not be “lightless” in my friendships.

One of my favorite quotes is the one below.
