#onelinewednesday: Meg Mitchell & The Secret of the Journal

I love a good message of and about family.

Entering Kimberly McNeil’s (also known as A.C. Williams) Meg Mitchell & The Secret of the Journal is exactly what I got.

I absolutely loved every single quote that was at the beginning of each chapter from Meg’s father’s journal. They were all so thought-provoking and spoke such truth about different things that the characters were going through!

Meg’s story also did an amazing job showing that family isn’t just blood, but ones who we allow in to our hearts too.

As Meg’s says below, family is a choice.

She now studies manga for “research purposes” and writes clean graphic novels from her home in North Carolina—all the while keeping an eye out for wandering unicorns and potential lightsaber battles with her family.
