I recently read my very first anthology and it was awesome!
Many of the stories were fantastic and immensely enjoyed them. There was one, however, I think was most likely my personal favorite as it spoke to me the most.
The funny thing is, the main character is a squirrel.
Who knew a squirrel could be so relatable?
Though I won’t go into detail about the story, Well of Fate by Savannah Jezowski is about Tosk the squirrel.
Discontent with his life as a tale-spinner, Tosk goes searching for the Well of Fate, but changing his destiny proves harder than he ever imagined.

This little guy longs to be a hero and him learning just what that means was very touching. We don’t have to change who we are to be a hero written “in the books.”
No, we can be who we are and just possibly be a “hero” in someone else’s story, without even having to ever go to the Well of Fate (though Tosk’s journey took him there).
Be you, sweet friend, because you’re touching someone else’s life today and shaping them to be a better person. <3
