#onelinewednesday: Spring’s Rising

Happy Wednesday!

I meant to have this post up much sooner, but our family unexpectedly bought a van! (YAY!) However, even with the “delay” (our family is so excited, especially my kids), I really wanted to spotlight one of my recent reads.

Spring’s Rising by Robin D. Mahle and Elle Madison was quite the adventure.

I came in expecting one thing, but got something more then I bargained for. Haha!¬†Poor Charlie had this brutal beginning and was totally concerned what was going to happen to these characters. All except one, that is, but since this is the second book in The Lochlann Treaty Series, I won’t say who.

Plus, I rather focus on Charlie and the value of friendship I took from this story. It reminded me to treasure the friends I have and how joyful it is to be able to have someone(s) I can trust. Even in the midst of hardship, it’s not something I want to take for granted.

I want to be the kind of friend that is remembered in a positive way and remembered for my actions.

Just like Charlie says here. <3
