#onelinewednesday: The Painted Hall Collection

What a great and unique collection author Anna Tan is releasing tomorrow!

I was able to read an early copy and I greatly loved the fairy tale vibe and how original each story was. Plus, having a collection of stories that is continuous with the same characters/family was something I really enjoyed.

The first story, When Winds Blow Cold, was mainly my favorite, but I was really moved by the message in the last one, A Still Small Voice. It’s never right to be selfish and loved how accurate this line was below.

If you’re looking for short stories that are unique and for a quick read, I definitely recommend checking out The Painted Hall Collection!
